Tomorrow, tomorrow, tomorrow

It is almost impossible to believe that tomorrow will come. Finally, finally, we will leave the last eight years of incredibly disappointing leadership and embrace hope. I hope that Obama can do what he wants to do. I hope he has a Congress the supports his vision and can rally the country to make big changes. Oh, does it feel good to be a liberal!

I'm so glad that a conservative and a liberal can be wonderful friends!

It was a great day and I enjoyed watching very much. I also enjoyed educating our children on the magnitude of today's events.

I thought of you when I wrote what I did. Not wanting to offend, valuing your friendship, but still wanting to be myself.

Our children are very lucky to be seeing today. They will grow up with more possibilities although I don't wish politics on any of them.

Be yourself. I value your truths, your opinions, your beliefs, and your willingness to stand strong in all of them.

Too far left can't be good. Too far right can't be good. Coming together in the middle with an attitude of respect is good. That's where we are.

Validating each other and feeling joy for my friend who won the prize this time.

(Oh, and always be yourself on your blog. I like you. It's okay to even gloat if you want. It's been a long eight years.)

And to think we met because of our kids. This might sound mushy, but I do believe that opening hearts for a child lets all sorts of new and wonderful things come in.

Thanks for being my friend.
