My little brown bat

Julia was being serious and closing her wings for this picture. I love her sincere face.
Julia love these wings. And this is just her first opportunity to fly.

I hope you and Julia like this rhyme (it's by Lewis Carroll):

Twinkle twinkle little bat
How I wonder where you're at
Up above the world so high
Like a diamond in the sky
Twinkle, twinkle little bat.

And there is a special Celine Dion song called Vole (Fly) which has the lyrics: "Fly, fly precious one/your endless journey has begun/Across the planets and the stars/Flee this lonely world of ours/Fly beyond imagining/Fly little wing."

(The song is dedicated to her niece Karine who died of cystic fibrosis. Jean-Jacques Goldman translated the lyrics).

Have a great Halloween! And, yes, it is a lovely costume.
